the room was newly renovated. the comfy beds ensured a good nights sleep and i found everything very clean. the location also worked well with the station being only a short walk away.
the ceiling was flaking off, and the bathroom could use a new coat of paint after a leak. the room also felt freezing during the night, since the heater's remote was not working.

clogged showerunpleasant smell
I was frustrated with a couple of things. first, the bathroom shower had a clog. It really needs a deep clean because i saw some mold. also, the smell in the hallways wasn't pleasant. It detracted from the overall experience.

The location was convenient near Peckham Rye station. This made getting around easy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The pub downstairs offered good food and drinks at a reasonable price.
The room could use some updating. I noticed a few areas with peeling paint. It didn't ruin my stay, but some maintenance would improve the overall experience.
